• Yes, you can but I highly recommend that you book a trial/ preview. I believe a trial is important for not only achieving the intended look for your hair & makeup, but also getting to know your goals and flow of your morning, to make sure you’re getting ready as streamlined, stress free, and as fun as possible.

  • Yes definitely. Scheduling is on a first come first serve basis. AGL requires a signed contract and a 25% retainer to officially reserve your date. Your date will not be held until both are completed.

  • Yes, a 25% non-refundable deposit is required. Along with a signed agreement in order to SAVE THE DATE of your event.

  • Around 2-4 months prior to your day is usually what I find it best to have your trial.

  • My goal is to make this process as easy and simple as possible for all of my future brides. 

    It takes a few steps:

    Step 1

    Inquiry form -  this helps me get a feel for the details about your event and to make sure I have availability for that day.

    Brochure - with this email you will find attached a brochure  based on your inquiry. You will be able to learn a little bit more about working with AGL and all services I offer. You will be able to select specific services that you are interested in booking.

    Step 3

    Schedule makeup & hair preview. We will talk through your vision for your ultimate Glam look and you will be offered guidance for bringing your dream bridal hair & makeup to life.

    I or one of AGL artists will do our absolute best to answer all your questions and concerns. 

    Step 4

    Let’s make it official.

    Based on your service selection I will prepare a custom proposal for you where you will be able to “Save Your Date” by submitting a non-refundable deposit of $200 and signing a contract.

     Step 5

    All the hard work is done! You will be able to check Hair and Makeup off your To Do list YAY! 🥂

    Closer to your date I will create a “Getting Ready” timeline for the morning based on your schedule with the photographer and the ceremony time.

  • Yes, additional touch ups/second style creation hair or makeup are an option depending on availability.

  • I usually allow 75 min for bridal glam per service,

    45min to an 1 hour per guest service,

    an additional 15min for complimentary touchups,

    30 minutes for setup/pack down just to be absolutely safe.

  • Once you know either what time your photographer will be arriving, or what time you need to be ready by, we can work backwards from there to schedule you’r start time.

  • Yes, I have the option of booking an assistant for an additional hourly fee $150.

  • All of the makeup products I use are Professional Brands that were designed to give long-lasting results and photograph beautifully. They are bought through professional retailers and most brands can only be found in specialty stores. Examples of some brands I use are Charlottes Tilbury, Makeup Forever, Urban Decay, Tarte, Laura Mercier, Temptum airbrush makeup, Anastasia and many more. 

  • Definitely!! If you are not sure what you are wanting, I would love to help. I try my best to ask a variety of questions to get an idea of what you may want. Remember, it is your day so if you aren't sure, we will usually stick with something more natural. Checkout AGL Pinterest

  • Yes! I specialize in Airbrush makeup and swear by it. Most of my wedding makeup has been done using Airbrush because it lasts longer and feels amazingly light on the skin. It has great coverage without feeling “heavy” on the skin. It does not “sweat off” or look cakey. I use the brand Temptu for all my airbrushing.

  • I always work with each client to ensure she looks her absolute best. If you are unsure about makeup, we will work together to create a look that enhances your best features and plays down the areas you may not be as happy with. I don’t want you to feel that I’ve transformed you into someone no one recognizes anymore – unless that's how you want to look!

  • The Airbrush makeup lasts before needing touch-ups for up to 24 hours and traditional up to 10 hours. I have never had anyone say it didn't last so I know it will stand up in any weather.  I have done many brides at 6 in the morning and their makeup is perfect until the end of their reception.

  • Don't worry, everything we use for weddings is water-resistant or waterproof, from the foundation to the mascara. Simply dab your eyes or forehead with a tissue and keep on looking gorgeous!

  • Absolutely! I specialize in custom-blended makeup to match any skin tone no matter how dark or light. I LOVE working with the many different shades and tones of beauty! I also have a full range of professional skin care products that I use to prepare delicate, mature, sensitive, or acne-prone skin before makeup application to achieve the very best results.

  • Bride Makeup: 60-90 Minutes

    Bridesmaids/Other Makeup: 45-50 Minutes

    ADDITIONAL SERVICES WILL TAKE EXTRA TIME (such as blowout prior to styling services, clip-in extensions, individual lashes, décolletage & body glow).  These are approximate times, and additional time may still need to be added into wedding or event day timelines.  

  • No worries if you’re a bride I can provide a touch-up kit upon request! (Includes one full-size lipstick, setting powder, blotting paper, tissues, and if hair services are with AGL, I will also include bobby pins and a small hair spray.) Additional fees apply.

  • There is much more than makeup & hair that goes into the bridal price. At Ania Glam Lab I strive to make sure the bride can have all her questions or concerns answered always. So not only am I providing extra time for makeup and hair on the day of the wedding, but I’m also including the time we spend with the bride over emails and calls and providing a timeline for the day of.

  • It’s very important to make sure that the person you hire for your hair and makeup is sanitary. I have been professionally trained to know how to keep everything clean and sanitary. I will have clean brushes and a tidy makeup kit. I always begin applying makeup using cleaned and disinfected brushes and products. Our brushes are cleaned before each workday and cleaned with antibacterial brush cleaner between clients. All eyeshadows, eye/lip liners, and other makeup products are disinfected with 99% hospital-grade alcohol sanitizer between usages as well. 

  • I do not. I like small intimate weddings or elopements just as much as big lavish bridal parties. Travel fees apply if traveling more than 15miles from La Jolla Cove location.

  • I will let you know a week before your wedding what I need, but I generally request:
-A “set up” table/work area with a clear surface so I can place all of tools and makeup - working electrical outlets for hair appliances
 - 2 chairs for the bridal party 
- ample lighting (natural light preferred)
